Tango 500 Units
The Tango 1000S is complete mud recycling and mixing system on three separate skids:

• 1000 GPM Recycling Unit
• Mixing & Storage Unit
  
• Triplex Pump Unit

The three separate skids allow the flexibilty to take only the pieces needed. No permits are needed for transport in the U.S. Heavy-duty oilfield skids are able to go places trailers cannot.

The Recycling system is Kem-Tron's Tango 1000 - based on our patented multifunctional linear motion shakers with a total of 162 sq. ft (15 sq. m.) of screen area for maximum solids removal.

The Mixing Unit uses Kem-Tron's 6" Hopper with Venturi and has level controls for automatic fluid transfer.

The Triplex Pump Package uses a LEWCO 446 Superforce Triplex Pump, a 550 HP diesel engine and Allison Transmission. A 180 kW generator is also included on this skid which will power the entire system.

Centrifuges

Drilled solid accumulation is controlled with shakers and hydrocyclones, but when ultra fine solids become a problem, a centrifuge is required.

KEM-TRON's KT-1448 Centrifuge has some of the following features:

1. Solids end with 16 Carbide faced plows and four Carbide scrapers prevent solids build-up and protects bowl from wear.

2. Stainless steel bowl with Carbide tilted conveyor, Carbide feed nozzles and flow accelerator. Fluid end has four adjustable dam plates to vary pond depth.

3. Gear box is a dual planetary reduction unit built with oilfield ruggedness. A variety of scroll to bowl ratios are available for different applications. Trip assembly protects gear box and resets without shear pins.

4. Hydraulic soft start clutch helps prevent the explosion proof motor from overload. All moving parts are fully guarded with quick release steel covers.

5. Fully integrated oilfield skid includes 15.2 cm (6”) effluent ports and solids discharge chute along with all controls mounted and wired ready to install. Sand blasted to white metal, primed with zinc epoxy and finished with one coat of acrylic epoxy paint.

6. Explosion proof control panel is conveniently located on centrifuge skid and contains starter with heaters for both centrifuge and pump. Remote speed control for pump is available as an option.

7. Various sheave sizes allow for changing the bowl speed / g-force.

The KT-1448 has proven to be the most versatile centrifuge for varying requirements from barite recovery, colloidal particle removal to flocculated sludge decanter applications. For smaller and larger models or for special needs, contact your KEM-TRON representative.
